Round 7 of the Club Champs was played The two top rated players David Paul and Paul Frost did battle with David causing Paul to resign after 25 moves John Whibley applied the screws to Guy Burns and the pressure finally told with Guy gifting John a rook for nothing in a drawn position such a generous fellow.
Nathan Price secured a draw with Johnny Hynes good result for Nathan and Mike Ororke beat Sean Doyle
