The Upper Hutt Rapid will be held on Saturday, 18 July 2026, at Hutt International Boys’ School in Trentham.
The event consists of two six-round Swiss tournaments played at a time control of 25 minutes plus a 5-second increment per move. Tournament A is aimed at NZCF-rated players with ratings of 1100 and above, while Tournament B is an unrated event designed for younger or newer players.
